Euromedic operates scanning, diagnostic, therapeutic and dialysis centres in 15 countries across Europe.
History
Euromedic began operations in Switzerland its 14th country of operation, with the acquisition of three diagnostic centres in the canton of Valais in the end of October, 2007. The acquisition included three multi-modality diagnostic centres: “Centre d’Imagerie Valaisan” (CIV) in Sion, “Centre d’Imagerie de Sierre (CIS)” in Sierre and “Medizinisches Radiologisches Institut
(MRI)” in Brig.

The group of centres have an excellent reputation for providing state-of-the-art quality imaging diagnostics services and collectively have served the community for nearly 30 years. The centres provide a wide range of diagnostic procedures including: Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Ultrasound, Digital X-rays and Mammography. This year the company (Headed by Dr. A.H.Sidani) and his team of 27 medical professionals will deliver over 25,000 diagnostic investigations.
In July 2008, Euromedic acquired “Centre de Diagnostic Radiologique de Carouge” (CDRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. The acquisition included a modern multi-modality diagnostic centre located in the heart of Carouge a district in Geneva.
The centre is the market leader in Geneva and has a highly respected reputation for providing state-of-the-art quality imaging services and has served the community for over 10 years.
In July 2008, Euromedic acquired “Centre de Diagnostic Radiologique de Carouge” (CDRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. The acquisition included a modern multi-modality diagnostic centre located in the heart of Carouge a district in Geneva.
The centre is the market leader in Geneva and has a highly respected reputation for providing state-of-the-art quality imaging services and has served the community for over 10 years.
The centre provides a wide range of diagnostic procedures including: PET-CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Doppler Imaging, Ortopantomography, X-rays and Mammography investigations. The company headed by Dr. A. Naimi and his team of 44 medical professionals including a unique team of 10 radiologists perform over 30,000 diagnostic investigations annually.
On July 8th 2008, Euromedic announced its network expansion in Switzerland with the acquisition of “Centre d'Imagerie medicale SA” (CIMED) Diagnostics Centre located in Fribourg, Switzerland. The centre is a modern multi-modality diagnostic centre with a highly respected reputation for providing state-of-the-art quality imaging services having served the community for over five years. “CIMED” provides a wide range of diagnostic procedures including: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, Digital X-rays, Nuclear Medicine (Gamma Camera), Invasive Radiology, Radio pediatrics and Mammography.
The centre headed by Dr. Antoine M’Baya and his team performs over 25,000 diagnostic investigations annually. The centre was purchased from Mutuel Insurance Company which will cooperate in the future with Euromedic.

In April 2009, Euromedic announced the completion of its acquisition of “GIVISION” Diagnostics in the Canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. The acquisition includes three modern multi-modality diagnostic centres located in the cities of Givisez, Bulle and Tafers. The company also provides diagnostic reading services for a hospital located in the city of Daler.
GIVISION Diagnostics which was founded in 2001 is a well recognized and distinguished imaging diagnostics company. The company and its team of 31 medical professionals including a highly respected team of Radiologists (Dr. Forat Sadry (Founder), Dr. Jurg Scheidegger, Dr. Aďssa Boudrama, Dr. Mauro Pugnale, Dr. Colette Bounameaux and Dr. Ridha Rezig) perform over 18,000 diagnostics investigations annually.
